We've been sitting here in our backyard lots, enjoying the huge canopy of the Crape Mrytle tree and escaping the blazing sun ...
I love the bark of a Crape Mrytle, so smooth and the mottled colors resemble an animal hide ...
At one point a cloud appeared then quickly passed, and in that split second there was some amazing light reaching through the canopy ...

Enjoy your day and make it a good one!

Beautiful yard! Beautiful tree. Sorry to hear about Beaver, I hope he is doing well. It is so hard to watch our animals get old or have problems. Thanks for the little note a week ago, I've just been burnt out. Its hard to throw some blogging time in when life seems to take over sometimes. OH! I love how your blog design has come along! Very nice!!!
Oh dear, what happened to Mr Beaver? I am stunned at the beauty of your backyard!!! What an absolutely fantastic place to hang out. I hope Mr Beaver is starting to feel better:)
