So a quick introduction seems in order ... my name is Robin and the "after" in our blog name references a less than wonderful event in our life {a house fire} but you'll notice we are Happily Home After ... so its all good now. I've discovered that I have a super-big interest in photography since I started to blog, consider myself a super-novice picture snapper, and hope to grow in this great art form so I can better express my personal perspective through photos.
For now, here's my selection of four previously published photos on this blog that I'd like to turn into Note Cards.
I have a special place in my heart for Cherry trees. These photos are Spring 2012 from the tree in our front yard ...
You can read that post here.

Although this isn't my greatest photo ever, and would certainly need to be cropped for a Note Card, I think of this as our family photo ... a great metaphor of our time together {we walk Beaver puppy, a lot} and that we were captured in silhouette by taking the photo with the sun behind us {actually did that intentionally!}
You can read that post here {this was taken for a contest about photographing where you walk and the post has details and a link for info, if you are interested}.

And here's Mr. Beaver puppy, thoroughly disgusted with the whole she-bang but putting up with it because he loves me. I share this to hopefully give you a chuckle today :) I actually considered using this for a Christmas 2011 card.
You can read that post here.

Thanks for spending time with me today and I look forward to viewing your Note Card selections ... please leave a comment so I can return the visit and be inspired by you!

Hi Robin!
You picked some perfect photos for the Note Card party! This is my first time to participate, as well. What a great idea it is to get to repeat & focus on some of our favorite pictures.
Loved seeing all of yours, esp. the shadow one & that cute poochie!!!
fondly,
Rett
Hi! So nice to have you join in. (I learned something pretty cool today about a Gulpy and will be looking for that for my miniature poodle Molly. It looks like a great solution to carrying too much stuff.) Great spring blossom photos! The first is positively dreamy. How tall is your hubby? ☺
Nice to meet you..thanks for stopping by my blog and pics.
Love the shadows..I have been taking some of those myself. Your pictures are beautiful...I am not the photographer, but I enjoy taking them for my blog.
Great Note Cards
Love the doggie!
So nice to meet you at the party :).
I must admit I was curious about the "after" part of your blog name. How awful to have been through a house fire, but I'm glad things are happier now.
Mr. Beaver is a cutie pie and a good sport too!
I adore your first photo with that beautiful blue sky peeking through.
so cute. love all the shots. the doggie is so cute. love shadow too. always a fan of flowers. (:
So nice to meet you! You can't beat cherry blossom time and I love the family portrait. Furpeople are very important! Glad to hear your after is going well. Enjoy your camera!!!
Fun shadow photo...welcome to the party! Have a great week :)
I love cherry blossoms and your photo of them scattered on the ground was a wonderful shot! Your pup in Santa outfit would make an adorable holiday card and your family portrait photo is so imaginative. I really enjoyed my visit to your blog!
Sweet doggie would have to be my pick, but the blooms are beautiful!
Beautiful flowers and cute dog. The shadow photo is my fave!
Great photos you have chosen, but Mr Beaver in his Santa hat is the tops, and would make a great Christmas card. thank you for sharing.

Perfect shots- love those spring flower and what a cute pup!
Cool pics, lovin' your pup:@)
everyone is a winner. I like all of them.
I love the carpet of blossoms on the ground:)
Your photos are gorgeous, they would make a beautiful set of notecards! Are those petals on the ground? GORGEOUS!
Thanks to everyone for your kind comments!
Lavender Dreamer, yes those are the Cherry Blossom petals on the ground ... for about 24 hrs it looked like we were having pink snow! Those petals ended up scattered around the whole neighborhood and people thanked me for sharing the pink :)
Such a pretty picture to start things off - I love flower photos. I would consider myself a beginner when it comes to taking photos. I have lots to learn, but it's all fun! :)
